Dr. Tobin opened his Latrobe practice in 1995. Many of the families he saw in his first years still come in today, and now bring their own children.
The practice has stayed small on purpose. You see the same dentist every visit, he takes the time to explain what he sees, and nothing is recommended that you do not need. Emergencies are worked in the same day whenever possible, and new patients are always welcome.

We currently participate with Advantra, Aetna, Aetna Access, Aetna Dental Medicare, Ameritas Life Insurance, Assurant - DHA, Assurant Employee Benefit, Connection Dental, Dominion Dental PPO, GEHA Connection Dental, Guardian, Humana, Humana Dental Medicare, Lincoln Financial, Meritain Health, MetLife, Physicians Mutual, Principal Life, Sun Life, TeamCare, Teamsters, United Healthcare PPO, UPMC Dental Advantage, and UPMC for Life. If your plan is not listed, call us and we will check.

Do you see dental emergencies?
Yes. Emergency calls and appointments are welcome, especially for new patients seeking help. Call the office as early in the day as you can and we will make room to see you.
What insurance do you take?
We participate with around 50 dental plans, including Aetna, MetLife, Guardian, Humana, Sun Life, United Healthcare PPO and UPMC Dental Advantage. We also take some United Concordia and Cigna groups - those are umbrella companies, so call us with your specific plan and we will confirm. If your plan is not listed at all, call and we will check it for you.
What if I do not have dental insurance?
Call us and we will go over your options. Many of our patients pay out of pocket. You get a written estimate before treatment begins, we can arrange a payment schedule for larger work, and CareCredit financing is available.
